Next Yoga weekend in Nagu to be announced
In Nagu, in the archipelago, about 50km from Turku/Åbo, I have a newly built small yoga studio. It is fully equipped with a yoga wall and props and is a dream come true for me.
A typical workshop for four participants can look like this:
Starting on Friday at 17:00, we will begin with getting familiar with the place, each other and then have a yoga session. That first evening you will also be served an evening meal.
On Saturday we will start the day at 10:00 with a meditation followed by asana after which you will be served lunch. Then there will be the option of going for a lovely walk in the forest and on the rocks (we don’t have any real mountains), or just hanging around resting, reading, talking.
This will be followed by a snack before we have a second session in the studio. With asana, perhaps some technique, meditation or restoratives. This session will be very much tailored to your desires and needs. The length of this session is often around 2 hours as there usually is a lot to discuss and ask.
It will be followed by a meal.
Sunday morning we will again start at 10:00 with meditation and asana followed by lunch. After lunch there will still be time for a summary of the weekend, a walk in the woods and over the rocks. We have many lovely paths to choose from.
You will have to arrange your accommodation yourself because I can at this point not include this in the package. There are several options in the main village to choose from which I will list below with links.
The price for the weekend, including the meals I’ve mentioned is 220 €, incl. VAT.
Nagu, the main village, is only about 3 km away from our place. So if you need a ride from your accommodation to us, we will come and get you by car and take you back at the end of the day. There is no direct bus from Helsinki to Nagu outside the summer season, but an easy connection can be made in Piispanristi or in Turku. I can help you with that, if you don’t have a car. Or perhaps we can organize a car pool… We’ve managed to do that before.
Here is a list of places to stay:

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions at all.
This is what one of the participants said about the weekend in May:
Dear Tove, thank you so much for this unforgettable weekend with yoga at your beautiful studio immersed in the nature of Turku Archipelago. Every moment of my time in Nagu was special and memorable, the company, the food and the remarkable, personalised yoga practice tailored to our needs. Thank you for correcting my alignments and showing me how to incorporate it all into my everyday life.
With warm greetings,
Marta
And this is from our weekend in November:
Dear Tove,
Thank you for this wonderful retreat in your paradise in colourful Nagu, for your kindness, wisdom and hospitality, including the outstanding culinary experiences offered by Sten.
During a both activating and restorative weekend in the spirit of yoga and under your careful and encouraging instruction, I was offered physical and mental space to gain strength and gather insights that will further inspire me throughout the autumn and winter ahead.
Warm greetings, Dona
