Translations

From the mid 1980’s to around 2005 my main job was translating. I started as a freelancer and did work for several companies in different fields. Marketing texts, advertisements, texts for human resource development trainings etc., until I was employed by the Ministry of Justice in 1988. There I mainly translated and proofread legislative proposals and other legal texts from Finnish into Swedish. And I was also in charge of a project of translating central Finnish legislation into English.

After leaving the ministry I continued for several years to do translation work for both them and different offices at the Parliament.

Now I am helping owners of smaller businesses with their translations and proofreading. My strongest languages are Swedish (mother tongue), Finnish and English.
